Great purchase
This wireless CarPlay and Android Auto adapter is a definite 10/10 and honestly such an incredible deal for the price. It works exactly as promised, and the fact that it’s compatible with both iOS and Android is amazing—it makes it so versatile if you have different phones in the family. The connection is fast and stable, and it really modernizes the driving experience by getting rid of those messy cables. It's a true plug-and-play solution that auto-connects every time I get in the car, making it a total game-changer for my daily commute

No more annoying wires!!
This thing changed my life. My car is a 2017 Ford Mustang Ecoboost Premium, and I finally got tired of managing the USB cord to connect my android auto to my car. It's just an extra hassle in the morning and I finally had enough. This little thing is a life saver, and much more affordable than a $40 one that does the same thing. At first I tried using a wireless magsafe charger to fix the "plugging in to connect to android auto" just thinking it had to be plugged in, but no that didn't fix it.. so sort of wasted money there. It had to be plugged in via USB for the for the data transmission. The way this little adapter works is pretty cool actually, it connects via Bluetooth, then connects your phone to its own wifi network for the data transmission to android auto, once its connected that way it disconnects the Bluetooth (that said, it doesn't touch your connection to your cars bluetooth!) And stays connected with the wifi. At first I had trouble setting it up and thought it wasn't going to work, it took some fiddling, but I finally got it. Now it connects seamlessly when I start my car. Absolutely life changing. I have a short commute so getting in/out of car in short periods, so juggling a bunch of wires is annoying. If you're setting it up at home, make sure to disconnect/disable auto reconnect to your home wifi before setting it up. Then once its going you can turn it back on. I can't speak for durability/life of this yet, but so far so good. I see no reason why it would stop working in the future.

This can address Your Apple CarPlay / Android Auto Situation
Wireless Connectivity: A Review of Wireless CarPlay Adapter– Android Auto Wireless Adapter, 5.8GHz Wi-Fi Plug & Play,Mini and Stable iOS 10+/Android 10+, Fast Auto-Connect for Cars 2016+ (1Pcs) From: ZOUHOE In today's connected world, our smartphones have become an extension of our lives, and integrating them seamlessly into our cars is more important than ever. While many new vehicles come with built-in Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, they often require a wired connection to function correctly. This is where wireless adapters come into play, promising to cut the cord and offer a truly hassle-free experience. Not so much for me; it's the lady who needs the convenience, so that's what needs to happen. I recently acquired the Zouhoe wireless CarPlay/Android Auto adapter, and after extensive testing, here is my review. First Impressions and Setup The adapter itself is compact and sleek enough, blending in easily with the car's black interior. Installation entailed plugging it into the USB-A port: straightforward. After plugging it in, the adapter initially took a few moments to boot up. Her car's system needed to connect to the phone via Bluetooth. Finding it as discoverable, launching Android Auto, and then pairing it with my Google Pixel took a little while (a couple of unplugs and reboots), but I eventually managed to connect. So long as I continued to use my Pixel, there was no problem. Then I tried to connect it to my lady's iPhone via Apple CarPlay. Essentially mirroring the process I followed for the Google Pixel and Android Auto. It took a couple of reboots of the infotainment system, but eventually connected. Performance and Responsiveness The connection was not consistently stable for either phone at first. The car's infotainment system can boot slowly (20-40 seconds) or quickly (5-10 seconds). I think this had more to do with switching back and forth between Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I tested it on both short commutes and longer road trips, and the performance with one phone is consistent, with occasional reboots. Key Features and User Experience Automatic Reconnection: One of the most convenient features is its ability to automatically reconnect to my phone as soon as I start the car. No more fumbling with cables every time I get in. Dual Compatibility: The adapter switched between CarPlay and Android Auto depending on which phone was connected, which was a huge plus for us (households with different device platforms). Minimal Latency: There was virtually no delay between my input on the touchscreen and the action on the car's display, which is crucial for a smooth user experience. Compact Design: Its small size means it doesn't clutter the console or obstruct any other ports. The Downsides While the experience was largely positive, there are a couple of minor points to consider: Initial Boot Time: There's a slight delay (a few seconds) when the car starts up for the adapter to fully boot and connect to the phone. This is a small trade-off for the convenience of wireless connectivity. Battery Drain: As with any wireless connection, there's a slight increase in battery drain on your phone compared to a wired connection that also charges your device. However, this can be mitigated by having a charging pad or a separate USB charger in the car. When using Android Auto, my Pixel wouldn't charge faster than the power usage (it went from 51% tp 48% in an hour on the integrated charging pad. Not bad. My phone case probably had an impact, but I'm not taking my phone out of its case over and over again. Overall Verdict The wireless CarPlay/Android Auto adapter works. For one person with one device consistently connecting to it, it's probably just fine. If you are switching between devices or between CarPlay and Auto, be patient. In the right situation, it delivers seamless, responsive, and reliable wireless integration. The convenience of not having to plug in your phone every time you get in the car is invaluable. If you're tired of tangled wires and crave a truly modern in-car experience, I recommend investing in a quality wireless adapter. It’s a relatively small investment that yields significant dividends in convenience and enjoyment.

Does NOT work properly with Android Auto, no BT for phone calls!
Does NOT work properly with Android Auto. My Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra pairs over Bluetooth just fine to the device, then connects via Wifi for Android Auto as expected, but then the device immediately disconnects from Bluetooth and won't allow me to connect to it. The result is that Android Auto *appears* to work - screen, apps, etc, but critically you can't use it for a phone call - AA actively tells me when I try to switch audio of my call to it, saying there is no bluetooth connection available. Wireless Android Auto *requires* the phone to be connected to *both* Wifi *and* Bluetooth simultaneously; phone calls can't simply use the Wifi connection. I have several other cars with wireless AA built in and can absolutely confirm that all of them remain connected to *both* Wifi and Bluetooth of my phone simultaneously for full functionality. I've tried factory resetting the device, re-pairing, etc, but the same situation always happens. Also, to be clear, I cleared out the direct Bluetooth association with my phone on both the car stereo and my phone, so an old connection with the car is not getting in the way. I did try the path of connecting to the car for BT and this device for wireless AA, but then I can't use Google Assistant because AA can't get control of the mic because the car is holding onto it directly. Even worse, I tried to find a way to contact support before writing this review, but the only options are to use their troubleshooting steps which don't help this situation, so I have nobody to contact. Seller, please get in touch with me or this will be going back. For what it's worth, my car is a Volkswagen GTI with an RCD330 head unit that fully supports AA. When I connect via cable directly, everything works.

Small Device, Huge Convenience Upgrade
I almost never write reviews, but I honestly couldn’t skip this one. This Wireless CarPlay Adapter / Android Auto Wireless Adapter is absolutely amazing. Setup was truly plug-and-play — it took just a couple of minutes and worked right away. The connection is fast and stable, and it auto-connects every time I start the car. The 5.8GHz Wi-Fi makes a big difference — no lag, no freezing, and no annoying disconnects. It’s small, compact, and fits neatly without taking up space. If you’re tired of plugging your phone in every time, this is 100% worth it. Highly recommend!

Works pretty well!
So far so good. It responds fast to connecting up my Galaxy S24 and everything responds pretty quickly to buttons on media, text messages, etc. I love that it is small enough so that I can close the center console door of my car. When my car is powering on and starting that is when my phone is connecting to this device and just about the time everything is up the Android Auto comes right up. A couple of things to note here: you might want to check the voltages coming from your USB ports to your system. Power fluctuations can fry these devices in a short period of time. Found out that one of my ports in my car is having fluctuations as when I plug in my phone as a charger or to launch the Android Auto it will keep connecting and disconnecting my phone. This device was also having issues in that same port. I have cleaned the ports out really well and now they appear to be more stable. I am considering purchasing new USB ports for my car to keep the power up.

The convenience of an automatic connection at a fraction of the cost
Works incredibly well. It's a simple plug and play device for a decent price. When i first purchased my new car, they asked if i wanted this feature added for an additional $600. I turned them down and therefore had to manually plug my device into my car, which sometimes it wouldn't even recognize I had plugged it in. Since I've had this device, I've never had an issue connecting my phone to my car. I can trust that it'll do it automatically.

Works Perfectly in My 2020 Camry LE
I was a little skeptical about switching from wired to wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, but this adapter has been a game-changer in my 2020 Camry LE. Plug & Play Setup: Installation was super simple—just plug it into the USB port and follow the quick pairing steps. Took less than 2 minutes. Fast Connection: The 5.8GHz Wi-Fi makes a big difference. My phone connects almost instantly when I start the car, with no noticeable lag. Stable Performance: Music, maps, and calls all run smoothly without drops. Even voice commands through Siri/Google Assistant work flawlessly. Compact Design: The mini size means it doesn’t clutter the console or get in the way. Convenience: No more fumbling with cables every time I get in the car. My son loves being able to hop in and stream music right away too. Overall, this adapter delivers exactly what it promises—wireless freedom with reliable performance. If you drive a Camry like me, this is a must-have upgrade. So. I bought it used it was good and it died on me last week. Just wouldn't connect. Attempted to reconnect tried all the tricks and nothing finally had enough and just bought a new version. Would have liked it to have last longer......

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finalmente libero dai cavi! Ottimo acquisto
Ho acquistato questo adattatore wireless per CarPlay dopo anni passati a collegare e scollegare il cavo ogni volta che salivo in auto, e devo dire che ha superato le mie aspettative. Installazione semplicissima: Come promesso, è davvero plug & play. Rapporto qualità-prezzo eccellente. Non tornerei mai indietro!
